In Belgrade, we participated in the conference "Joint Action to Address the Problems of Skill Skills: Case of the ICT Sector"
At the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the European Training Foundation, the Callidus team participated in Belgrade at the conference "Joint Action to Address the Problem of Skill Skills: Case of the ICT Sector".
The European Training Foundation helps partner countries to modernize their education and training systems to enable citizens to acquire knowledge, skills and other competences that require dynamic economies and societies. Education and professional education are considered elements of a unified and integral learning system.
In order to improve the learning system, especially in the IT sector, in October, at the Science and Technology Park in Belgrade, a conference was held, entitled "Joint action to address the problem of skills shortages: The Case of the ICT Sector", where many partners changed their experience in lifelong learning. The conference was opened by the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Zoran Đorđević.
Minister Đorđević stressed that only this year, 1,000 Serbian citizens will be reclassified to IT experts, and given market needs, it is very likely that everyone will get a job, which will ultimately contribute to reducing the unemployment rate.
The conference presents international and domestic ICT skills improvement solutions, and the Council for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Information Technology has been presented. This advice is the body for building a partnership for the development of ICT skills with the aim of analyzing specific market needs and analyzing institutional co-operation.
The conference was organized by the Council for Innovative Entrepreneurship and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Development of the Republic of Serbia and the European Training Foundation.
